Terms of Service
Last updated: October 4, 2026 — 60SecondRedFlag
1. Acceptance of These Terms
By uploading a document, making a payment, or otherwise using 60SecondRedFlag ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What the Service Does
60SecondRedFlag uses automated, AI-based analysis to review documents you upload (such as offer letters, non-competes, and equity agreements) and generate a plain-English report identifying clauses that may carry legal or financial risk, along with general educational information and suggested talking points.
3. Not Legal Advice, Not an Attorney-Client Relationship
The Service provides automated, general-purpose analysis — it is not legal advice, and using it does not create an attorney-client relationship. The Service is not a substitute for consultation with a licensed attorney, and we strongly recommend consulting one before signing any agreement with significant financial or career consequences, or before relying on the Service's output in a negotiation or dispute.
4. No Guarantee of Accuracy or Outcome
Automated analysis can miss issues, misclassify clauses, or reflect outdated legal information, and laws vary by state and change over time. We do not guarantee that the report is complete, accurate, or current, and we do not guarantee any particular negotiation outcome, employment outcome, or financial result from using the Service.
5. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal right to upload and share the document you submit. You may not upload a document you do not have the right to share, or that was provided to you under a separate confidentiality obligation that this use would violate.
6. Payment and Refunds
Fees are shown before purchase and charged at the time you submit your document. [DECISION NEEDED: because the report is generated and delivered almost immediately, most digital-goods services state that purchases are final and non-refundable once a report has been generated, with refunds only considered if the Service fails to deliver a report at all due to a technical error. Confirm this is the policy you want, or tell me your preferred refund window/conditions and I'll rewrite this section.]
7. Your Document and Data
You retain all ownership rights to the document you upload. You grant us a limited, temporary license to process it solely to generate your report, under the retention and deletion terms described in our Privacy Policy. We do not claim ownership of your document and do not use it to train AI models.
8. Confidentiality
We do not share your document or report with your employer, prospective employer, recruiter, landlord, client, or any party named in your document. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling and retention.
9. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Upload a document containing another person's private information without their consent
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the Service's underlying analysis methods or prompts
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to generate content used to harass, defraud, or mislead another party
10. Intellectual Property
The 60SecondRedFlag name, logo, report design, and underlying software are our property or that of our licensors. Your report is yours to use personally and privately; you may not resell, redistribute, or publicly republish the Service's report format or methodology as your own product.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, 60SecondRedFlag and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost income, lost employment opportunities, or outcomes of any negotiation, employment, or legal matter. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the report giving rise to the claim. [DECISION NEEDED: this is standard limitation-of-liability language for this kind of service, but the exact wording and enforceability varies significantly by state/jurisdiction — this clause in particular should be reviewed by your attorney before launch, since it's doing real work if something ever goes wrong.]
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 60SecondRedFlag from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for any user who violates these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.
14. Governing Law
[DECISION NEEDED: this needs the state/country whose law governs the agreement — typically wherever your business is legally formed. Since you're France-based but likely incorporating as a US entity for a US-facing product per our earlier GTM discussion, this should match wherever you actually form the company (e.g., Delaware, or your home state), not just be left generic.]
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
